3 Ways to Use Thai Sauces

Sauces are a staple in every household. The uses for them are vast and so are the range of flavours. Some of us prefer milder flavours while others spicier, and today we will be sharing with you a range of sauces suitable for everyone, regardless of your spice tolerance.

Recently, we brought in products by J-Lek, which hails from Thailand. They offer many products, from cooking sauces, instant cooking pastes to dipping sauces. Their dipping sauces are versatile and can be used in the following ways:

As a condiment

One of the most conventional and convenient methods of using a sauce is by dipping your food into it. The sauce helps enhance the taste of your food by adding extra flavour and we recommend using J-Lek’s Sriracha Mayo Chilli Sauce and Sriracha Ketchup Sauce.

The Sriracha Mayo Chilli Sauce is mildly spicy. The mixture between mayonnaise and sriracha helps balance the spice out. You can dip a variety of food in this all-purpose sauce, like finger foods, appetizers or even main dishes! Think between the likes of burgers, sushi and sandwiches.

Similarly, the Sriracha Ketchup Sauce can also be used as a dipping sauce for a variety of food. It is much milder than the Sriracha Mayo Chili Sauce and has a more sour taste. It’s also more kid-friendly which makes this sauce a great option for parents with young children.

Sriracha Chili Sauce is rich, tasty and made with J-Lek’s special recipe. Besides using it as a condiment, this sauce can be used to make other sauces. For example, you can mix it with some butter and white vinegar to make buffalo sauce. You can then toss some chicken wings to make your very own buffalo wings. It’s a simple, tasty and great way to make use of a simple bottle of chili sauce.

As a dressing

The third way of using Thai sauces is as a dressing. Chilli Sauce with Garlic by J-Lek is sweeter and less spicy in comparison to the Sriracha Sauces, and is good for people who prefer milder flavours. Drizzling the Chilli Sauce with Garlic onto a salad makes the salad more flavourful and refreshing.

With so many uses of Thai sauces, it’s impossible to ever run out of ways to utilise them. The possibilities are endless and we recommend trying out different sauces and variations of pairings to find what works best for you.
